Pastor Rob is beginning a new Summer Sermon Series “BE Attitudes” from Matthew 5:3-10 that begins this Sunday, July 26th at 10:00 a.m.

In a world that seems more and more chaotic every day, is “happiness” even possible? Wouldn’t it be nice to know how to find that sweet spot in our life and faith that helps us make sense of current events and how God has designed us to live?  As you’ve heard it said, “attitude is everything.”  So, what kinds of “attitudes” will allow us to find blessing and joy along
with true and lasting happiness in our Christian lives?  If “blessed” means “happy,” what was Jesus getting at when He said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit,” or “blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness?”

In our new series BE Attitudes (from…yes! the “Beatitudes” in Matthew 5), Pastor Rob will take you on a survey of these “Blessed are” statements of Jesus that probe the moral, ethical, and spiritual principles that began the formal earthly ministry of Jesus of Nazareth in Israel.  And while we will identify and understand the primary Kingdom message in them, our focus will be on the inter-dispensational and practical application of His words for the Church, the Body of Christ today (cf. Romans 15:4).
