Our AWANA clubbers had the wonderful privilege of caroling at our neighbors, DaySpring Assisted Living and Nursing Home, last week. Our AWANA Family Fall Harvest Party is happening tomorrow evening (Wednesday, October 30th) beginning with dinner from 5:15-5:45. We are having bar-b-q’s and chips. Over the course of the AWANA year, the clubbers worked diligently on collecting an offering for the Kids Food Basket of Muskegon and the California Wild Fires. They were able to send $109 to the Kids Food Basket and $109 to the wildfires. Both organizations were so appreciative of the donations by our AWANA clubbers.

1,160. That is about how verses were memorized by our Awana kids this year. This year was a great year for our program. We had many new faces and many returning faces from last year. We had record turnouts, even with having 4 weeks in a row of “snow-days” due to the great Michigan weather.

Our AWANA Pine Wood Derby Race is tonight! Our races will begin right at 6:00 p.m. Clubbers invite your friends and families to come and cheer you on! Races will finish around 7:30 p.m.
