What a joy it was to see the faces of the residents at Dayspring Assisted Living next to our church when the children of our midweek Awana program sang their favorite Christmas songs and then mingled with the folks giving out handmade Christmas Cards and Candy Canes. The staff was so happy to have us share with them, and the residents lit up and sang with us as we celebrated the Christmas spirit together. When we got back to church, we enjoyed hot chocolate and goodies. Our Christmas party is next Wednesday for the Awana kids, watch for coming pictures!
