This week Pastor Rob teaches about The Personalities of Christmas, focusing on Mary the mother of Jesus on this the second Sunday of Advent. The children will join us in the sanctuary for music, children’s church and the lighting of the Advent Candle then be dismissed to the Anchor Kids program. Nursery drop off will be as usual.
This season we invite you to fill out a star with an attribute or name of Jesus that brings you joy and home this Christmas (stars are located in the foyer by the Worship Response Board and at the end of your pews.)
We would like to encourage you to bring non-perishable food and sanitary items for our Christmas Box Food Drive. We are collecting for the needy in our community. There will be a table in the foyer as well as one in the Fellowship Hall.
Reminder! This Saturday, December 4th at 10am is the Hanging of the Greens! Join us in decorating the sanctuary for the Christmas season. No experience necessary, just bring your happy holiday spirit!
Tis the Season for poinsettias! There is an insert in the bulletin with an order slip or you may fill one out in front of the office. Place you order slip and payment in the lock box on the round table in front of the church office. They are more expensive this year, as are many things this season, but we have ordered our usual number of plants, so please get your order in soon!
