Our Mission Moment for the Missions Conference “Until the Whole World Hears” continues today with a focus on Brook Seekins.
A familiar face to our Anchor Point family, Brook faithfully served in Tanzania for many years, until the National Church leaders acted rashly and to cover up their own sinful behaviors, forced out Brook and 2 other GMI missionary families. Brook continued to feel called to missions, and after a period of time felt the Lord leading her to take a step of faith and go to the field of Malawi. As a member of the GMI board, I can say that we are all so proud of her spirit and willingness to serve after such a traumatic experience and are pleased with her progress in learning a new language and culture in which to serve.
