The sun was shining, the grill was fired up, the music was playing, and the kids were laughing… it was a great Sunday. Despite the temperature not hitting above 63 degrees on Sunday afternoon we still had a great turn out for the Anchor Point Bible Church annual fall kick-off picnic. The chicken was amazingly prepared by our own pitmaster Tim Swain, and all the side dishes and desserts were soooooo good! It was a great time of sharing and spending the afternoon with our church family and some new friends that stopped in. The kids had a great time in the bounce houses, getting their faces painted like unicorns and superhero’s, and playing outdoor games to win prizes. Thanks to all our volunteers that lent a hand in setting up and tearing down and manning the stations– you are all awesome! We are already looking forward to next year’s picnic as we have some awesome surprises in the works! Hope to see you there!
And with the picnic over that can only mean one thing- Sunday School is back! This Sunday we go back to our 9:30 am start time for church then it’s cookie and coffee fellowship followed by Sunday School at 11:11 am. We have something for everyone so stick around and join a class! We would love to have you!
